AFFORDABLE LEGAL REPRESENTATION

Many firms will claim that their rates are "affordable" or "fair", but they won't outright explain their rates or be transparent about their pricing model. At Merideth Law, I sincerely believe that a person's access to an attorney shouldn't be limited by their budget. I am conscientious of the fact that hiring a lawyer is a major cost for most people. In setting my rates, I reflected on how to be more affordable to the average person. 

For hourly services, I have set my rates lower than the average rate listed on a 2021 Clio Legal Trends Report.* For the services where I offer a flat fee, I have strived to make that fee both fair and reasonable. I owe it to my clients to do what I can to be affordable for the average-hardworking person. Likewise, I owe it to my prospective clients to be straightforward about how I derive my rates. 

Moreover, rates aren't the only area where I have strived to build a transparent firm. If you hire me, you will never receive just a bill without any explanation for the work that you're being asked to pay for. Instead, each bill will include a detailed summary of the work performed. 

It is my mission to build a meaningful relationship with my clients, and like all relationships, that starts with trust. Under our unique client-centered approach, there are no gimmicks and there is no hiding the ball. This is just one more way Merideth Law is changing the lawyer-client experience.
